Final Fantasy XIV trust system will be updated after Patch 6.1

Square Enix plans to update the FFXIV Trust system in a patch after 6.1.

Square Enix plans to update the FFXIV Trust system in a patch after 6.1. This update will add Trust compatibility to all main scenario dungeons and four-player trials. Also, other low-level dungeons and trails will be improved. However, 8-player dungeons will not be updated until 7.0. If players want to explore dungeons more easily, they also need to have enough Final Fantasy XIV Gil on hand.

This update is part of Square Enix’s ongoing mission to Buy FFXIV Gil to single-player players. The Trust system allows players to use NPCs instead of other players for dungeons and trials without queuing. Director and producer Naoki Yoshida made the announcement recently from FFXIV Letter from the Producer Livestream.

Improvements will start with patch 6.1, which will make A Realm Reborn scene duty trust compatible. It will make various improvements in patches between 6.1 and 6.5. Standard duty queues will not be affected. Yoshida said that while the team also wanted to add Trust compatibility for 8-person dungeons, they could not do so in these patches because of timing and budget reasons.

Yoshida commented players may wish to bring certain NPCs into some key scenario battles. An example given is the Nidhogg fight, where the player may want Estinien as a Trust NPC. Yoshida said the team will modify some key scenes and cutscenes to justify these NPCs joining the fight. So players had better buy FFXIV Gil at IGGM so that they can easily face powerful enemies.
