Each skill can sound very different at the RS gold beginning. Woodcutting refers to the gathering of wood, firemaking is referring to the process of putting wood in use and cooking is about cooking food. The skill's meaning is different for each skill. This is very logical. But if you take a look at the aspect of training you will see that they share one thing in common. Repetition is the most effective method to teach a skill.

For leveling up attack, you don’t have to kill just one monster. You need to kill hundreds of monsters and possibly thousands. While you can kill any kind of monster, it isn't very efficient. This is the case for any skill. Whether you are cutting trees, mining ore, hunting salamanders, crafting runes, making summoning pouches or making cannonballs, the training process is always about repetition. It's not just the ability to think or real-world skills that matter when you're training in RuneScape. It all depends on the time you are able to complete the task. This is the thing that all existing skills have in commun and the things that a new skills could do.

This brings me back to something I said when Bachelor Fridge was released a couple of months ago. My buddies and I discussed about the enthusiasm of Jagex for strategy games. FunOrb has many new games that are focused on strategy. Jagex has been practicing this method for a long time. Some are more successful than others.

Although I am not saying the new skill will go under the name of 'Strategy', I don't intend to guess the name. However, I think that this skill might have some strategy component. It's no longer the case that RuneScape is a simple matter of clicking and repeating. Strategy is a skill that can be utilized in its own right and can have an effect upon the other abilities.

I'll try to explain a possibility on how this might work. Because the new skill will benefit the existing skills, I believe it will be a part of the current skills that will have an option to plan your strategy or you could 'learn' how to make and utilize new tools. For example, some tasks (such as cooking or mining) might include a Strategy On/Off switch that allows to turn off or on the strategy mode.

Turning on strategy mode allows you to train the new skill too and will perhaps increase the quantity or quality of your product. This could be because you will have access recipes and recipes that require a different method to buy RuneScape gold prepare or cook.
