Final Fantasy XIV’s grace period is coming to an end

In Final Fantasy XIV, players can purchase and customize houses after meeting certain level and mission requirements. So many players Buy FFXIV Gil to get the house, furniture and other items they want. But they need to enter their home at least once every thirty days or their home will be deleted. Over the past few months, developers have suspended the system.

However, the grace period for FFXIV is not indefinite and will actually end soon. If players want to keep the house they bought in the game, they need to abide by the 30-day rule starting March 9th. If they don’t, the buildings will be “demolished” and it will sell their expensive FFXIV housing plots themselves, meaning even the land on which the buildings sit will be lost. Players can see how long it will take them to check into their accommodation by looking at the Timers tab, but it should be noted that this only shows how many days are left on the timer, not how many hours or minutes.

Buying a house in Final Fantasy XIV is a lot of work, players must be at least level 50 and complete specific tasks in each housing complex, and that’s before paying the FF14 Gil required to buy most of the property. So it would be very disappointing and frustrating to forget to follow this occupancy rule and lose your home. Then again, most gamers willing to buy a home in FFXIV are probably diligent enough to keep track of this timer, so hopefully, this rule doesn’t cause too many problems.

In-game teardown is just one of many steps Square Enix is taking to ensure a minimal friction gaming experience, so it probably won’t go away soon. Video game publishers, however, can’t please everyone, so anyone involved in any Final Fantasy XIV discussion will see some homeowners express their displeasure in the coming weeks. If some players don’t have their own homes, they can buy FFXIV Gil to get everything they want. If they get tired of FFXIV, they can also try another popular game, New World. Players can also get some beginner’s guides and New World Coins on IGGM for more fun.
