Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons will not leave on their own accord. How exactly do you evict a villager from your island so that you can make room for a new character or get rid of a certain villager on your island? There are three approaches to evacuating villagers that are detailed in the ACNH villager move out guide 2022. You can try any one of these.
There are a few urban legends that circulate about how to remove villagers from their homes in New Horizons. Some of these urban legends involve hitting villagers with a net and pushing them, placing trash outside of their home, or even mailing them garbage; however, none of these methods are effective. Then, how can one quickly convince a villager to leave their home in ACNH bell? Pinkylani Plays also presented alternate methods, in case you find the concept of time travel to be too complicated.
1. Travel to the campground and have a conversation with the locals.
Villagers will come to your campsite that have different personality traits than the villagers that you currently have living on your island. When you see these villagers, you have the option of talking to them if you want them to move in, but only if you want them to. Keep talking to them until they express a desire to engage in conversation with you, and then invite them to a game with you. If you play the game and come out on top, they will hand you a prize; however, if you come out on the losing end of things, all you have to do is keep talking to them and they will ask you to play again. Next, what you need to do is continue talking to the villager until they suggest that they would like to move in. Once they make this suggestion, if you have a plot available, they will choose that plot. If you do not have a plot available, they will choose a villager for you once they return from Resident Services. If you want that villager to leave, then don't save and quit the game; just close it. Otherwise, you'll have to start the process all over again until you find the villager you want to kick out of the game.
2. Send an invitation to a camper by using an Amiibo card.
After you have invited the camper using an Amiibo card, go to the campsite and talk to the villager. You may have to talk to them a few times before they ask you for an Animal Crossing item to craft. After you have crafted the item and brought it back to the villager as a gift, they will give you another gift for crafting. You can use the Nook Stop to invite a camper by going to the Resident Services building and using the Nook Stop's Invite a CampDo it once more the following day, and once you have invited the villager in, return to them and talk to them once more. They will ask you for another item to craft, and you will need to repeat what you did the day before. On the third day, you will need to perform the action once more. Then you continue to talk to them, and they will express interest in wanting to move in, so you tell them why don't you go ahead and move in, they will check your resident services, and if you have a spot available, they will take that spot; however, if you do not, they will let you choose this time a resident to negotiate with, select the resident you want to move out, and you will be able to kick out the villager of your choice.
3. Travel through time and look for villagers who have thought bubbles.
As soon as you have successfully logged into your game, make your way to the Resident Services area and examine the villagers there to see if any of them are wearing a thought bubble above their heads. If no one else has, you should save your game and then exit the game. You have the ability to time travel to the following day and continue searching for villagers who have a thought bubble on their head. It is possible that you will need to repeat this process multiple times before you find the villager you are looking for and verify that she is willing to relocate. If the villager with the thought bubble is the one you want to get rid of, talk to them and move them out of the village. If the villager with the thought bubble is not the one you want to get rid of, don't talk to them, make a note of the date, and time travel back to the date that it was before you began time traveling. Then, time travel forward to the date that you noted and continue doing so until you find the villager with the thought bubble is the one you want to get ridAfter you have finished talking to them, it is imperative that you save your progress and exit the game immediately because this is an extremely important step. You can then use time travel to get to the very next day, which will allow you to see that the villager is now prepared to leave. You will soon be in a position to initiate the process of recruiting a new villager for your island.
