Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has been available to play for five years now and is still getting very regular updates, like the Splatoon 2 reissue, and new content fairly frequently. Animal Crossing: New Horizons, on the other hand, has been out for less than three years and received its last major update in November 2021. While a five-year-old mobile game gets regular updates, the newer console game is stuck in time.
