A COMPLETE MECHANICS GUIDE ON POE 3.22 LEAGUE TRIAL OF THE ANCESTORS

The next Path Of Exile league is called Trial of the Ancestors. Among POE Currency them, this PC version will start on August 18, and the console version will start on August 23.

The new league is a mechanic somewhere between Auto-battler Style Tournament and MOBA Arena, taking place off the map. We will face different tribes of Karui faction through Tournament. Here I’ll explain the new league mechanics and everything we’ve learned.

Mechanic Access – Silver Coins.

Similar to Rogue’s Marker in Heist, in this mechanic we will have Silver Coins. This is a new type of POE Currency, which can be used as a medium of exchange, and we can also use it to enter the field of transactions.

Here, we’ll meet 11 NPCs in total. Each of 10 Karui tribes taking part in Path of Exile Items Tournament has a Chieftain, as well as Navali who manages our access to these Tournaments. We’ll dig into how to interact with these NPCs and some details later on.

How Does The Mechanism Work? – Battles Tournaments.

By interacting with Navali, we will register for Tournament. In each match, we have to face 10 Karui tribes, and only by winning the battle can we get the ultimate reward. Every Silver Coin allows us to take part in a battle.

In each round, we can choose which tribe we want to compete against, and this choice will be based primarily on the rewards each battle offers us. The games are the best of three, which means if we lose a game, no problem. But if we lose two games, they will disqualify us. We have to win two rounds to get the corresponding POE Items as rewards, as well as a certain Favour of the tribe.

When a Warrior dies in combat, they reappear a few seconds later at their base, Totem. Note that in Hardcore mode, they have considered this to cause obvious problems for players.

Therefore, Death won’t be permanent in the new mechanics, and your character will also respawn next to Totem shortly after death. But if we destroy Totem, these Warrior dies instantly and cannot respawn.

So, the team that destroys the opposing Totem first wins the battle. Before starting a battle, we will configure our team and place on the field a series of items that will help us once the battle begins. We can intuitively understand the composition of the enemy, to choose the best strategy to fight against them.

Each tribe has its strengths and weaknesses, and we must understand them to fit the situation. Once we hit the start button, we appear in Arena and fight alongside our Warriors. They will move according to the roles and locations we assign them.

Initially, we could only start a Tournament with 3 Warriors. But when we win the battle, we can recruit Warriors again. You can also spend special POE Orbs to get line equipment and Field Items for them.

They also mention that if you join a party, all your companions can join your Warriors in battle. Once we’ve finished the game, we’ll start a new one from scratch. This means that Warriors and their equipment and Field Items will not be preserved.

However, as each game progresses, our ranking will rise and the rewards will be better. Also, after winning this tournament, Hinekora lets us choose from 3 exclusive rewards. We’ll talk about all the exclusive drops in the mechanics later.
