The first is that I've always been hesitant to jump on the Bears bandwagon because there's something I can't buy regarding Mitch Trubisky. In my opinion, the Bears are the best team in the first second half of games and are more so in the opening quarter. They've lead at halftime of every game before they begin to slow down in the second quarter. Could it be because Trubisky is off his opening script , or Matt Nagy is off his script, which makes them less efficient? I'm inclined to believe that it's because of Trubisky not being as efficient as his performances have shown him at times he'll miss easy throws. As good as the Bears defense is, in 2018 the quarterback and the offense have to be at a high level to beat the playoffs.
In the end, I think that it's now the time to get behind the Bears which are one year away from Super Bowl contention. The Lions may not be alive at the moment but Chicago took on the road to a division rival using the backup quarterback in a short week and Buy Mut 24 coins won. That's huge.
