WoW Burning Crusade Classic is a crucible of soul-crushing grinding and unforgiving combat

When it released World of Warcraft: Classic, Blizzard's goal was to stay as true to the original World of Warcraft experience as was feasible. And while that's still true for Burning Crusade, they...might be loosening up just a little.

On my return to Outland with Burning Crusade Classic, I have experienced this nostalgia, not only for returning to the same places that I visited in the past, but also for how well spun everything was before and the frustrations and satisfactions that made the beginnings of WoW something so wonderful. In the Retail servers, the modern ones, many improvements have been made in the quality of life in the game, shorter times to level up, easier to upload professions and in short reduce the demands to a minimum. Some are very good and should continue to be implemented, some should even reach Classic, however all the good things come with a bad part.

It's a crucible of soul-crushing grinding and unforgiving combat that smashes players together like atoms, sparking chain reactions that forge new friendships with impressive regularity. But sustaining those ongoing reactions requires an unfathomable sacrifice of time and energy that makes my heart yearn for the years when I was a teenager with all the time in the world. Burning Crusade Classic is awesome, but you'll have to give up a significant chunk of your life to experience all of it.

"One of the things that we're trying to do is move just a little bit more off of what we used to call, 'No Changes,'" he said. I don't know how far the Classic Blizzard gum will stretch, it may take it to the end or it may be in an intermission. What is clear is that now it's time to enjoy the Burning Crusade, probably in a couple of years the Lich King will return to recreate the best expansion WoW has had in all its history, perhaps that is the end, without a doubt for me it should have been years ago but we will talk about this later.
