How cool a question I find interesting too. I have low alch using the rings of the explorer due to the fact that it's free, but it's limited to 30 per day. I use the RS gold nats that I obtain to superheat the ore. I get nats in drops as im fighting different monsters. I'm not one of the players to collect runes. It's the luck of the draw for me. But i know there is a list of monsters , as well as drop stats should you want to take on a pile of Nats?
I train Slayer and often forget what critter has the best nat drops. . I'm sure the roaches shed Nats, but unless one is fighting frequently, then relying on this to produce nats is very slow. But on the other hand, the prices are very low for certain items at the moment and runes are affordable to purchase if one has the gp needed to purchase an enormous stack.
I've only been playing since 08 and i'm assuming these are the best prices i have seen prices drop. In the past , i've sold runes but I'm now burning them because it's not a major loss in terms of cash to use my runes. In the moment, at least - Though stuff changes... And i very much look forward to the latest dumb update to be worked out within our world. Till then im off to take some gold out of the monster's butt.
So far, it's working extremely well. I only have to bank whenever I'm not able to hold more drops. It's much better having a whip as opposed to Guthan's war-spear. In terms of the damage that is done per second of the spear is abysmal So re-banking whenever you're in need is more efficient. Switch to a whip when you aren't required to heal. Easy to deal with.
Full Slayer Helmet. While I'm not killing them for a slayer task however, the Full Slayer Helm provides excellent defence when used as a ranged helm and also gives an extra bonus to attacks from a distance even if I can't receive the bonus of 15% because it isn't a slayer task.
Armadyl Pendant - Cheap Armadyl item. I'm currently considering putting an order to purchase An Armadyl Stole to replace it, but it probably won't sell for more than a few dollars. Saradomin Body - Helps me get to Armadyl's Eyrie, as well as allowing me to kill Aviansies in the middle part in the middle of God Wars Dungeon if the Eyrie becomes too busy (but normally it's not).
Dragon Plateskirt while imposing an attack range penalty and a ranged defence that is excellent can counteract that. One day I'll replace it with Dragon Platelegs to look better, but at the moment, it's not financially feasible for me. Snakeskin Boots - Nifty ranged attack bonus and defense bonuses that range.
Ava Accumulator - Who wouldn't use this to range? Rune Crossbow - Great one-handed weapon with a range. Can't wait till dragon comes out! Zamorak Vambraces Zamorak item with an excellent range bonus to help in reducing the cheap OSRS gold impact on other gear. Bolts with a Broad-Tipped tip - inexpensive and with a huge range of strength!
