The City is a large playable area that players can relax and explore. This area offers many opportunities for players with NPCs as well as take on 2K22 MT side quests, and perhaps even move up to penthouses with a view of the City. With the arrival of a large, open-world area like the City and the City, comes the need for unlocking locations for spawning. Doing so will allow for an easier navigation process and speedier completion.
Players can use the spawn points to start their game in a particular area in the City. The access to them will start when the side quest Unlock Spawn Point becomes available. There are a total of seven spawn points for players to select from.
The spawn points are unlocked at the same time the quest is completed. Players are required to travel a specified distance across the city in order to finish the quest. Setting the spawn point may be done via in the City map by selecting the desired area of spawning and then verifying it.
There is an Unlock Spawn Points side quest can be obtained through ATM An NPC located in the City. The quest requires the players to cover 26.2 miles. The run must be completed on foot, therefore using the BMX skateboard, skateboard or rollerblades are not considered to count towards the total distance that is travelled. Also, the participant must be running not walking. Tracking the quest will show an indicator of progress on the left-hand side of the screen and allows players to track how far they've travelled.

The players should be aware that running in the middle of nowhere won't count, so continuously running will not be effective if there's an obstacle in the character's way. Once the players have reached 26.2 miles and complete that quest of the spawn points are automatically open. The spawn point can be added to the map in one of 7 locations.
